The Diversity Committee is opening the doors for diversity and expanding membership through utilizing advertisement mediums, conducting outreach to community based groups who service veterans, to public agencies that support, promote and provide services for Veteran small business ventures to include start-ups, and direct outreach activities at diverse community events. To include an annual Diversity Poster Contest {attached} promoting AMVETS commitment to embracing membership diversity among it’s rank leading in the 21st century and Diversity Day event {attached} to promote inclusion in the community by engaging with diversity organizations.
