Updates from AMVETS Post 96 in Eureka

We are thrilled to share AMVETS Post 96 member Mark Nelson’s check in to update the Department about the impact Post 96 is making in Northern California.

AMVETS Post 96 and AMVETS Riders Chapter 96 joined forces to complete a highway cleanup in August.
In September, AMVETS Post 96 and AMVETS Riders Chapter 96 joined to honor Richard Guadagno, Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge manager who perished in the crash of Flight 93 on September 11, 2001. He was likely one of the heroes who helped storm the terrorists.

Also in September, AMVETS Post 96 and AMVETS Riders Chapter 96 represented AMVETS at the Eureka Elks Annual Veteran’s Car & Motorcycle Show.

It’s great to see AMVETS leaders and members being such a great representation of AMVETS values and being stewards of their community, and Post 96 has been busy!
